Jack N. Herrold is a founding member of the firm. He is a Fall 1981 graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law with a diverse practice, from complex litigation involving medical malpractice issues and class actions to civil litigation concerning issues of labor and employment, personal injury, insurance and business contracts. His practice also focuses upon the areas of estate planning and complex business and real estate transactions, including credit facilities, mergers and acquisitions, business sales and a variety of other commercial transactions.
Before he became a lawyer, Jack had a variety of experiences which he says helped him better understand the issues he handles for clients in his practice, including serving as a director of human resources for a manufacturing and retail business, selling surgical instruments by scrubbing with doctors to demonstrate them, and serving as a patrol officer with the Tulsa Police Department. Jack is also well traveled. He and his wife, Cathy, a flight attendant, treasure their vacations abroad and travel as much as they can. Jack is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in and governing Oklahoma. He has successfully arbitrated contractual matters under AAA commercial rules of arbitration as well as NASDQ and American Health Lawyers Association rules. He is familiar with and has been successful in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods employed to resolve disputes.
